Did you ever want to pick certain parts of the video and make a Live Photo from them? Now you can with the VideoToLive iOS app's latest 1.9.6 update! You can download it from the App Store if you don't have it yet!
Here is a video on how to use it.
Use the trim tool at the bottom to pick a specific part you want to use.
Tap the yellow tap on the right to expand the clip editor.
Tap on the empty cell labeled 'Tap to add' to add the current selection to the list.
Repeat until you have all the parts you want.
Tap on 'Convert' button.
If you want to reorder the clips, you can tap and hold the clip you want to move and drag it to where you want it.
If you want to delete a clip, tap on the red 'x' button at the top corder of the clip.
If you tap on a clip, the trim tool will move to that section so you can tap the play button to review it.
If you want to edit a clip:
Tap the clip you want to edit.
Tap the pencil icon (version 1.12.2)
Modify it using the trim tool or pick a different video by tapping the yellow triangle icon. (version 1.12.2)
Tap the pencil icon again to save or X icon to cancel. (version 1.12.2)
Modify it using the trim tool.
Add the new clip and delete the old clip.
Tap and hold the new clip and drag to the position you want.
